Containers leave from Karachi or Port Qasim. The family counter stays in Multan.
An export offer defaults to FOB Karachi. The vessel may load at Karachi or at Port Qasim. The schedule picks the gate. We say which one on the booking. We do not run a retail counter at either port.
The Multan-to-port truck is a real cost. Ask whether that haul sits inside the FOB number. Only the proforma fixes it. CIF, when you ask for it, adds freight and marine insurance at cost. That is the rule already written on the order page.
Who holds which paper
Zarkaar holds the phytosanitary certificate from the Pakistan NPPO, the packing record, and, for mango, hot-water treatment where the lane needs it. The Karachi Chamber certificate of origin sits in the same pack. We send copies before the originals.
You hold the destination permit. That is APHIS for the United States, CFIA for Canada, the plant-health certificate for the United Kingdom, FDA prior notice for American food entries, the Qatari permit, and SASO artwork for Saudi retail rice. We do not file your broker’s notice for you.
What never loads while the rule holds
Commercial wheat grain stays off the vessel while Pakistan prohibits that export. We do not issue a proforma, book a container, or send a grain sample. Certified wheat seed is a domestic bag in Multan, not a Karachi export lot.
A sea container of mango to the United States is not a quote we make. USA mango flies via Dubai irradiation. Karachi can still be the airport truck’s start. It is not a sea booking.
