Yarn is not lint.
The count goes on the proforma.
Combed cotton yarn for partners who want a value-added product. The minimum changes with the count.
Combed cotton yarn is the value-added line for a buyer who does not want lint. Various counts are possible. The count and the mill are written on the proforma. The minimum changes with the count. We do not publish one carton size for every count.
The UK and USA market pages name yarn as its own lane. It does not share a container with mango, and it does not borrow the 26 mm lint minimum of 80 bales. Punjab lint past 30 mm is still not an offer, including as a story about the fibre inside the yarn.
What we need before a price
Count, cone or carton preference if you have one, destination, and whether the mill must be named to your buyer. A “yarn, any count” message cannot be priced. FOB Karachi remains the default term.
Yarn is a different customs family
Ginned lint is heading 5201. Yarn that is 85 percent cotton or more is heading 5205. The UK and USA desks are where yarn is named. Bangladesh, Vietnam, and Turkey on the lint page are 26 mm bales unless the proforma says otherwise. A yarn invoice does not inherit the 80-bale lint minimum.
The count is the specification. Punjab fibre inside the yarn still stops at 30 mm as a story about staple. This page does not sell phutti, and it does not print a cents price. New buyers pay 50 percent before shipment. Say the count, the destination, and whether the mill must be named.
What yarn is not
It is not a garment program. It is not a way to buy 32 mm lint. It is not the Bangladesh feed-corn quote. Those are other pages with other buyers.
