Qatar books a week.
Your agent files the permit.
Mixed mango cartons and 5 kg basmati are a usual first order. “Sometime this season” is not a booking.
Qatar is a smaller, premium book. Your Qatari agent files the import permit. Zarkaar sends the phytosanitary pack, Halal, and origin in time for that filing. We do not file the Qatari permit ourselves.
A usual first mango order is mixed cartons for a named week, often by air. Five-kilogram basmati is a usual rice start. Halal is on the lot. The week has to be a week. A month with no date is not a booking.
How this differs from a UAE program
The UAE is a weekly reefer market in mango season, about five days by sea. Qatar is not that volume. Do not copy a Dubai hypermarket plan onto Doha. Do not copy a Qatari permit onto Saudi SASO. Each desk has its own paper.
Onion and other crops
Onion can move to Qatar in the November–March window with the UAE winter program, on a reefer at 0–4°C. It is still a separate temperature from mango. Ask for the bulb colour: red 60–80 mm, or white 50–70 mm.
What to send so the agent can file
The Qatar book is smaller than the UAE book. A usual first mango order is mixed cartons for a named week. A usual first rice order is 5 kg basmati, not a silent IRRI lot. Onion, if it is the cargo, is November to March, red 60–80 mm or white 50–70 mm, at 0–4°C, and it does not share a box with rice.
Halal, phytosanitary, and KCCI origin leave with the lot. Your agent files the permit. SASO is Saudi, not Qatar. Doha is not the USA irradiation hop. October does not load mango. The next fruit book opens on 1 January.
