Halal on the lot,
not on request.

Saudi Arabia and the wider Gulf receive a per-consignment Halal certificate with the other Pakistan papers.

Zarkaar Group, Shesha Basti Talab, Multan. Updated 2026-10-02.

A Saudi consignment from Zarkaar ships with Halal. The same rule covers Gulf food lots. An approved Pakistan Halal body issues the certificate for that consignment. It sits with the phytosanitary certificate and the Karachi Chamber origin certificate.

Halal is not a brand sticker we add after stuffing. Ask for it in the enquiry so the body can see the lot. UK, USA, and Canada files include Halal as well when the buyer’s retailer expects it. The mandatory sentence on this page is the Gulf and Saudi one.

Which cargos carry it

The certificate follows food. The crop still has its own extra papers.

Rice and mango

Saudi retail rice still needs SASO artwork before the container is stuffed. Mango still needs the hot-water log. Halal does not replace either document.

Onion

Onion into the UAE and Qatar in the winter window carries Halal with phyto and origin. The Saudi market page does not list onion. Ask before anyone books Jeddah for bulbs.

What we will not claim

We do not publish the Halal body’s certificate number on the website. The original travels under the proforma’s payment terms. A scan is a working copy for your broker.

A fertiliser bag, a seed tag, and a toori trolley are domestic counter products. They are not Halal export lots.

Where Halal is mandatory, and where it still travels

Every Saudi lot carries Halal. It is not an optional stamp added after a buyer asks. UAE, Qatar, UK, and Canadian food lots also travel with Halal beside phytosanitary and KCCI origin. The certificate does not replace SASO on Saudi retail rice, UK plant health, a CFIA permit, or FDA prior notice.

Zarkaar does not claim GlobalG.A.P., BRC, organic, or SMETA because a Halal certificate exists. Those are different marks. Cotton lint is not a Halal conversation. Feed corn follows the destination rule you send. Say the crop so the pack matches the lot.

Wanda, khal, chookar, and toori stay on the Multan counter and do not travel as Halal export cargo. Wheat grain export stays closed, so there is no wheat Halal offer. A feed-corn quote is not upgraded into a food file by adding this stamp.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Halal optional for Saudi Arabia?
No. Every Saudi lot ships with a Halal certificate.
Who issues it?
An approved Pakistan Halal body, per consignment. We do not publish the certificate number online.
Does Halal clear SASO for retail rice?
No. SASO paperwork is raised with the pack artwork before stuffing. Halal is a separate certificate.
Do you Halal-certify fertiliser?
No. Halal on this page is for food export lots. Fertiliser is a domestic bag from the Multan counter.
