Food entering the United States needs FDA prior notice. On a Zarkaar shipment, your broker files that notice. We send the data pack in time: the commodity, the lot, the packer, and the papers in the Pakistan file.
The data pack is not the notice. It is also not the APHIS permit, and it is not a phytosanitary certificate. Those stay in their own lanes. USA rice uses this food-entry logic and does not use the mango irradiation hop.
What to put in the request
The arrival airport or port, the commodity, and the broker’s deadline. Mango should name JFK, LAX, or ORD. Basmati should name the mill program, not a fruit flight. Yarn should name the count. We do not guess a filing deadline you have not sent.
What stays in Pakistan
Phytosanitary, Halal, KCCI origin, the hot-water log on mango, fumigation on grain and cotton, and the lab sheet. Scans move before the bill of lading. Your broker attaches what the FDA file requires from that set.
Who files, and which cargo it covers
FDA prior notice is your broker’s filing on a USA food entry. Zarkaar sends the data pack in time and does not file the notice. On mango, that entry follows air via Dubai irradiation. On rice, it follows a selected-mill basmati program that does not use the irradiation hop. The two files should not be copied onto each other.
Zarkaar is not the importer of record. Sea mango to the USA is refused. Duty and the destination terminal stay with the buyer. Send the airport or the seaport, the grade, and the broker’s deadline in one message so the data pack matches the notice.
