What fits in the box
depends on the crop.
These are the loads already published. They are not a rate card, and wheat grain is not a load we will book.
Buyers ask how much a box holds before they ask the price. Zarkaar publishes one planning load per crop. A mango reefer is not a rice box. An onion reefer is not a cotton box. Use this page to size the enquiry, then ask for the offer.
Sea production-to-dispatch is planned at 14 days from a confirmed order, and air at 5 days. Those are planning figures from the shipping terms. A full mill or a missed booking week can move them. The proforma is the date that counts.
The published loads
Nothing below is a new minimum invented for this page.
Mango
Air and LCL start near 500 cartons, about 2 metric tons. A full 40-foot high-cube reefer is about 4,800 cartons, about 19 to 20 metric tons. Cartons are 4 kg single layer. The set point is 8–12°C. Private-label artwork is a four-container minimum per variety, due 60 days before the first ship.
Rice and corn
Rice plans as one 20-foot box at about 24 metric tons, or one 40-foot box at about 27 metric tons. Private-label rice is one 40-foot high cube, about 25 metric tons. IRRI bulk starts at about 5,000 metric tons. Feed corn is about 27 metric tons in a 40-foot box, and bulk from about 5,000 metric tons. Moisture on feed corn is 13–14 percent.
Cotton and onion
Lint ships in 170 kg bales. A 40-foot high cube holds about 80 bales, about 13.6 metric tons. Yarn does not use the lint count. Onion is a 40-foot high-cube reefer at about 25 metric tons, in 10, 20, or 25 kg mesh, at 0–4°C after a 7–10 day cure.
The load we will not plan
Wheat grain stays closed. The how-to-order page keeps a planning line for a future licensed window. That line is not an offer, and this page will not turn it into one. Fertiliser and seed do not go in an export box.
