The inland haul
is a named line.

Fruit and onion leave Multan in a reefer truck. Rice, corn, and cotton leave dry. FOB Karachi does not swallow that truck unless the proforma says so.

Zarkaar Group, Shesha Basti Talab, Multan. Updated 2026-10-02.

Zarkaar loads export cargo in Multan and delivers it to the Karachi or Port Qasim gate named on the booking. That road leg is a separate cost until the proforma pulls it inside the price. FOB Karachi is the default commercial term. It is not a promise that the inland truck is free.

The counter that sells fertiliser, seed, and feed is the same address, Shesha Basti Talab. The fertiliser truck that covers Multan city the same day is not this export haul. There is no second branch in Karachi, and there is no walk-in export shop at the port.

What the proforma has to say

Read three lines before you treat the inland truck as included: the Incoterm, the named place, and a sentence that either includes or excludes Multan-to-port haulage. If that sentence is missing, ask before the truck is ordered. A verbal “FOB, all in” is not the file.

EX-Works Multan is the other clean option. Your forwarder collects from the packhouse or the warehouse. We still pack and document the lot. We do not hand the cargo to a driver who is not named on the instruction.

FOB Karachi

The risk line buyers expect. Inland haulage sits outside it unless the proforma adds the truck. CIF, when you ask, is ocean freight and marine insurance at cost. CIF does not reach back and pay the Multan road either, unless that same proforma says so.

Who may not use this truck

A kissan collecting DAP in Lodhran or Muzaffargarh is on the domestic list, transport extra, 24 to 48 hours. That booking does not share a vehicle with a container of Chaunsa.

Cold truck or dry truck

The commodity picks the vehicle. Mixing them to save a trip is how a claim starts.

Mango

Pre-cooled at the packhouse, then 8–12°C on the inland reefer. Hot-water treatment is already done: 48°C for 60–90 minutes, with the plant-protection witness. The road leg does not replace treatment, and it does not put mango on a ship to the United States. USA fruit stays air via Dubai irradiation.

Onion

Cured 7–10 days, then 0–4°C. Red bulbs are 60–80 mm. White bulbs are 50–70 mm. Onion does not share a booking with mango. Saudi discharge of onion is still ask-first, even when the truck to Karachi is ordinary.

Rice, corn, and cotton

These move dry. A 40-foot high cube of private-label rice is about 25 metric tons. Feed corn in a high cube is about 27 metric tons. Cotton lint is about 80 bales of 170 kg, about 13.6 metric tons. The lab sheet and, where required, the fumigation certificate travel with the lot. The truck does not rewrite those numbers.

Karachi is a gate

Stuffing happens against a booking, a customs declaration, and a cut-off. We do not keep a showroom at Port Qasim. If you want to watch the seal go on, book a loading-week meeting and name the person before the day. A surveyor attends at your cost.

We do not publish a rupee rate for the road. The figure is on the proforma for that week, because fuel and the empty-container position move.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Multan truck included in FOB Karachi?
Only when the proforma says so. The default term does not assume the road leg.
Can my forwarder collect in Multan?
Yes. That is EX-Works Multan. Name the driver and the vehicle before the day.
Do you have a Karachi office I can visit?
No. Load-out is by booking. The only counter is Shesha Basti Talab, Multan.
Will you put mango and onion on one truck?
No. The temperatures do not match, and the bookings stay separate.
