The Pakistan declaration
is our filing.
One goods declaration in Pakistan Single Window starts the export. Your broker still files the entry in the country that receives the cargo.
Every live Zarkaar export leaves under a goods declaration filed in Pakistan Single Window. The filer is Zarkaar or the customs agent we appoint. The buyer does not file this declaration, and a freight forwarder abroad cannot replace it.
Pakistan Single Window is the platform under the Pakistan Single Window Act, 2021. It is the place where customs, the bank profile, and the other agencies meet the shipment. The old habit of collecting a fresh Electronic Form-E at a bank counter before every declaration has been retired. The bank profile and the financial instrument move electronically. We still do not publish our trader-profile number.
What the declaration is, and what it is not
The declaration is the customs file: exporter, consignee, heading, packages, weight, value, and the port. It is not the phytosanitary certificate, not the Halal certificate, and not the Karachi Chamber certificate of origin. Those papers sit beside it. The bill of lading comes after customs releases the cargo.
We send scans of the Pakistan pack before the original bill of lading moves. We do not send a blank declaration for a buyer to reuse on another shipper.
The bank side of the same file
The exporter declares that payment has been or will be received through an authorised dealer, in the form the State Bank requires. A letter of credit, a contract, or an advance is associated when the payment term needs it. The proceeds page states the 120-day outer clock. This page only says the declaration and the bank file belong together.
Heading on the declaration
Our specification pages and HS pages name the six-digit heading a buyer can check. The eight-digit Pakistan Customs Tariff line is the one the agent enters. We do not invent that suffix on the website.
What we will not declare
A wrong heading is not a favour. It is a seizure risk for both sides.
- Wheat grain stays undeclared while the commercial export ban holds. Certified wheat seed sold at the Multan counter is a domestic bag, not an export line.
- USA mango is not hidden inside a UAE or a Canadian declaration. Sea mango to the USA is refused before a file is opened.
- Yarn is not declared as lint. Broken rice is not declared as head rice. Feed corn is not declared as seed.
- A country with no program, including Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Singapore, does not get a speculative declaration.
What you still file
FDA prior notice, the UK plant-health entry, the Canadian food inspection permit, the Qatar import permit, Saudi SASO or SABER product files, and the US plant-protection permit are destination work. Your broker or agent lodges them. We match the Pakistan wording to what those filings need, and we do not lodge them ourselves.
If a declaration is held for an examination, we tell you. We do not promise a same-day release, and we do not describe how to talk an officer out of an inspection.
