Meet where the buyers are. Ship where we already have a desk, or keep the enquiry as an enquiry.
Zarkaar will meet a buyer in a city where we do not discharge. Fruit Logistica is Berlin. SIAL is Paris. Asia Fruit Logistica is Hong Kong. THAIFEX was Bangkok. A listing puts one food fair in Istanbul. IFPA is Orlando, then Atlanta. Saudi Agriculture is Riyadh. None of those cities is a Zarkaar desk. The desks are the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Canada.
The proforma names the port: Jebel Ali, Jeddah, Dammam, Hamad, a UK port, a USA airport, or a Canadian airport. CIF, when you ask for it, ends at that port. It does not end at the hotel attached to the fair. A trader who buys for a desk we already serve can use any of these cities as a meeting room. A trader who wants the meeting city itself as the destination is starting an enquiry, not opening a page.
Cities people keep trying to promote
Each one already has a show page. This is the rule they share.
Europe
Germany, France, Spain, and Italy are not desks. A UK buyer can use Berlin or Madrid as a convenient week. The cargo still moves on the UK sea or UK air page. EU GSP+ can be discussed in Paris. It does not create a French warehouse. Preference is not a phytosanitary filing. Your agent still lodges plant health in Britain.
Asia and the Gulf interior
Hong Kong, Bangkok, and Singapore are not desks. Malaysia and Indonesia are onion lanes, not show cities we adopted. Riyadh can host Saudi Agriculture. The ship stops at Jeddah or Dammam. China is 28 mm lint, which is why Canton Fair Phase 3 is the only phase worth a lint hour, and why a fruit question there is a refusal.
The United States and Canada
Orlando is a meeting. The mango still flies via Dubai irradiation to JFK, LAX, or ORD. Atlanta in 2027 will be the same rule in a different hall. Montreal is the Canada desk’s city when SIAL Canada is on, and Canada air via Dubai is not the American irradiation step. One pallet plan cannot feed both.
What an enquiry from a new city needs
The commodity, the real port, and a reason that is not “we met.” Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Singapore stay names until a buyer and a bill exist. A sample can test them. A page waits. Wheat grain is refused in every city while the ban holds. Sea mango to the USA is refused in every city, including cities inside the USA.
Book the meeting on WhatsApp with the port written in the first line. If the first line is only the fair’s name, we will ask for the port before we offer a time.
