The FTA is the importer’s form.
Our offer is 28 mm lint.
A concession on paper is not a mango program, a rice program, or a licence to ship staple past 30 mm. Hong Kong is not the Chinese entry point we file.
China and Pakistan have a free-trade agreement. The Chinese importer, with a broker, claims whatever concession the current schedule actually gives that tariff line. Zarkaar does not print the percent. Schedules move, and a rate on this page would become a false invoice.
Our only China program is cotton lint at 28 mm. The ceiling is 30 mm. We do not sell Pima and we do not sell Egyptian staple under a Pakistan contract. Mango, rice, onion, and corn are not China desks. A conversation at a Hong Kong fair does not open them.
What we will put on the proforma
Lint, 28 mm, 170 kg bales, heading 5201, origin Pakistan, price against New York futures plus the Pakistan basis in the ginning season. The basis is on the proforma. It is not a live ticker here. About 80 bales fit a 40-foot high cube, about 13.6 metric tons. Yarn is a different heading and is not the China program.
If your broker needs a specific FTA origin statement, send the blank before we issue the invoice. We will complete what the ginning lot can support. We will not sign a form that calls the cotton something longer than it classed.
What the agreement will not be asked to do
Buyers try. The answer stays short.
- It will not turn a 26 mm Bangladesh bale into a China contract. The mill-country page and the China page stay apart.
- It will not clear Chinese plant health for fruit we are not offering.
- It will not make Asia Fruit Logistica in Hong Kong a Chinese customs filing. Hong Kong is not our discharge port for this lint.
- It will not reopen wheat grain, and it will not create an Oman or Singapore side door.
If you want a crop we do not list for China
Write anyway, and expect a refusal or a question, not a page. We open a desk when a real buyer and a real bill exist. Until then the honest sentence is the one above: 28 mm lint, nothing past 30 mm.
The gin can be visited with the gin’s permission during a planned week. We do not own the gin. A visit is not an FTA ruling.
