Macfrut’s 2027 public dates are 20–22 April at Rimini Expo Centre. The organizer also describes a closed session on 19 April for exhibitors and invited trade. Zarkaar does not publish a stand, so do not arrive for that closed morning expecting our name on a door. Italy is not a desk.
The commercial point of this particular week is cruel and simple. Sindhri pre-book has already closed, in mid-March. Chaunsa pre-book closes at the end of April. A Rimini meeting can still place Chaunsa volume. It cannot reopen Sindhri volume. Fruit itself is imminent: Sindhri ships around May and June, Chaunsa from late June.
What April can still sign
Bring a decision, not a scouting trip, if Chaunsa is the subject.
Chaunsa volume
Family fruit from Multan and the Shujabad belt. A 20 percent deposit holds the volume. Freight locks only on the proforma. A full reefer is about 4,800 cartons. Air and LCL start near 500. Private-label art was due 60 days before the first ship, so a late April art file is late.
UK and Canada, not Italy
The desks that take this fruit are the ones already published. UK sea and UK air. Canada by air via Dubai, which is not USA irradiation. A buyer who discharges in Genoa can ask. The answer is an enquiry, not a copied UK page with the port changed.
Sindhri, honestly
If a spot carton remains, we will say so on the phone that week. We will not rebuild the pre-book. Spot fruit from mid-May is about 15–25 percent above contracted volume, and that band is not a Rimini discount.
Onion and rice at a fruit fair
Onion is out of season in April. Do not use Macfrut to pressure a summer bulb program. Rice can be mentioned and then moved to a proper rice call. The halls are for fresh produce. A basmati contract signed in a hurry between mango meetings is how grade names get swapped.
