Hong Kong in September
is a forward book.
White Chaunsa is at the end of its window. Onion has not started. China lint is a different contract from a fresh-produce aisle.
Asia Fruit Logistica 2026 ran on 2–4 September in Hong Kong. Published listings place the 2027 edition at AsiaWorld-Expo on 7–9 September. Confirm those days on asiafruitlogistica.com before you buy a ticket. Zarkaar does not publish a stand number.
Hong Kong is not a Zarkaar desk. The show is useful because Malaysian, Indonesian, Gulf, and Chinese buyers walk the same halls. Usefulness is not a new lane. China on our books is 28 mm cotton lint, not fruit. Singapore remains a name, not a program.
What September can still discuss
Match the month to the crop or you will book a meeting about fruit we have finished.
White Chaunsa, if any remains
Late Multan and Nawabpur fruit runs into September. A full reefer is not a promise that late. Ask what is left. Do not write an October sailing and call it White Chaunsa. Family Chaunsa proper is the June-to-August fruit and should already have been booked by the end of April.
Onion, forward only
November through March is the bulb window. Malaysia and Indonesia are separate rules. We will not invent the permit text in a Hong Kong aisle. The Gulf winter program is UAE and Qatar. Saudi onion is ask-first.
Cotton is the wrong hall, the right buyer sometimes
If a Chinese mill asks about lint between fruit stands, the answer is the 28 mm program, ceiling 30 mm, heading 5201. The FTA page explains why we will not print a duty rate. The meeting can be booked. The fruit paperwork will not be reused for bales.
What we will not start from this show
A Japan program, an Australia program, or a New Zealand program. Hot-water treatment is sometimes what those countries ask about. Treatment does not open the desk. Foodex Japan has its own page for that refusal.
A retail plan for Hong Kong supermarkets. We would need a buyer and a bill before that sentence became a lane. Until then, book a meeting and expect an enquiry, not a price list.
