Koelnmesse lists the fair for 9–13 October 2027. The 2025 edition is over. A Cologne meeting still does not make Germany a discharge program.
Anuga runs every two years. The next edition is 9–13 October 2027 at Koelnmesse in Cologne. The previous edition was in October 2025. If someone offers you an “Anuga 2026” Pakistani mango pavilion, treat that offer as a calendar error. Zarkaar does not publish a stand for 2027 either.
October is a rice month. The fair’s structure covers many food halls, so a basmati buyer and a foodservice buyer can both be in the building. They are not the same order. Germany is not a desk. EU GSP+ may be part of your broker’s worksheet. It is not a paper we issue.
Who should book a Zarkaar hour
The building is huge. The hour should be narrow.
A rice retailer
Grade, bag, and whether the art is yours. Private label needs artwork before stuffing. Super Kernel is not a nickname for IRRI. The basmati-name page is the rule if a logo is involved.
A Gulf buyer using Cologne as neutral ground
Say the real discharge port. Jeddah, Dammam, Jebel Ali, and Hamad are programs. A German warehouse is not. Halal is already mandatory on Gulf food. SASO is a Saudi retail step and does not get decided on a Cologne carpet.
A fruit buyer a year early
October 2027 is after that year’s Chaunsa. Use the meeting to set January 2028 booking discipline, or to review 2027 arrivals. Do not ask for fruit on the stand.
Between now and then
SIAL Paris in October 2026 and Fruit Attraction in October 2026 happen a full year earlier. Use those if you need a 2026 room. Do not wait for Anuga to open a Sindhri contract. Sindhri closes every mid-March, including March 2027.
